Terri Schiavo (My take on it)

OK I think you all know what is going on with Terri, her heart stopped briefly from a chemical imbalance, cause brain damage, that was 1990. She has been on a feeding tube since and she hasn't had much brain activity, she also left no living will. This has become a case of right-to-die or right-to-live.

My take she has suffered enough, I think that she should be allowed to die, her parents are being selfish and want to keep their daughter around. In reality their daughter left 15 years ago, and they need to accept that. Instead they wish to drag her physical self through hell, just so they can keep her around, I know it is hard to let someone you love die, but sometimes it's better that way. Without all of these medical advancements she wouldn't have lived this long so you can't say that you are playing God by doing this, because without these things she wouldn't survive.

I feel her husband is right and that this shows a great weakness in our legal system, as these things were not thought of years ago and how could they. Also I think it is time for the bureaucrats to look into a better living will system than the current one to make sure this never happens again.
